Aubrey Drake Graham was born on October 24, 1986, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Raised by his mother in Toronto, Drake first gained fame as an actor on the teen drama television series "Degrassi: The Next Generation" from 2001 to 2007.

Started releasing mixtapes in 2006, which gained him attention in the hip-hop community.
